Yesterday was Steve's 29th birthday! Emry and I tried to make it a special day for him by doing a few things. First, we bought balloons and took them to his school along with lunch. Then, we made him chocolate chip cookies because he's not really a cake guy. And finally, we took him to dinner and went for ice cream at Coldstone. He said he had a great day and loved spending it with his two favorite girls. :) He also has a sweet Iowa State table lamp on the way. He can't wait to set it up in the "man cave." It'll match perfectly with his sports theme.

Two pretty cute people! Maybe Emry doesn't like work or were you pinching her? What a special visitor on your 29th birthday. Mom too! Wish I could have been there also.
