Last weekend we traveled to West Des Moines to celebrate Grandma Schmidt's 80th birthday with Steve's family. Grandma insisted on taking us out to lunch for HER birthday. You have no idea how many times the question, "Are you sure?" was asked. Grandma is our elder so we had to respect her wishes. Afterwards we headed to Steve's parents for cake and ice cream. It's always great to spend time with family...we loved every minute of it!
