1 Year Photo Shoot

We've been ANXIOUSLY waiting to receive Emry's 1 year photo CD. Today was our lucky day! Little E was a fusser at the original shoot so the photographer offered a second mini session. Her attitude the second time around was a little better, and I emphasize the word "little." Here are some of the best shots.

St. Paddy's Day Fun

Today, Emry and I played, napped, ran some errands and ended the day by visiting daddy at his second job, the fields. It was 80 degrees so it was a perfect evening to play on the playground and walk around the park. We LOVE the warm weather! Happy St. Patrick's Day to all you Irish folk!

14 Months

Our sweet girl turned 14 months today. As always, she is our favorite thing and never ceases to make us smile. We are obsessed with our cutie-patootie! Here is what little E is up to these days:
~ sleeps from 7pm-6:30/7:00am
~ take two naps ranging from 1 1/2- 2 hrs each
~ repeats everything (including any time someone toots)
~ took 4 steps on her own the other day (not walking consistently though)
~ has 10 teeth
~ loves books, looking out windows, rummaging through drawers/purses/bags, being chased, walking when someone holds one hand, and electronics.
~ says: eeet (eat), naana (banana),ba (ball), back (put it back), hi-fi (high five), cake (shake), hi, ba-ba (bye-bye), daddee, mamma, ki-tee, eeow (meow), teet-teet (tweet), day-dee (baby), uff-uff (ruff), pappa (grandpa), bow, kilk (milk), moo, nigh-nigh (night-night), up, cheeess (cheese), juice, nack (snack), book, soos (shoes), geez (Jesus), uh-oh, Addie, Andooo (Andrew), and Rob.

Grandparents, Grandparents!

Steve's parents were so gracious to host my mom, Emry, and me this past weekend. Emry hadn't seen any of her grandparents since her birthday party so it was about time to reconnect! Steve's parent's home is basically the midway point between where my parents live in MN, and KC. Unfortunately, Emry was recovering from Croup while cutting three teeth so she wasn't exactly herself. Even so, we had a great time together. She even had a chance to see her cousins Sam, Maddie, and Zach. Time spent with our families is so precious...I cherish every moment! Hopefully it won't be two months until we see them again.

Playin' in Style

I found these adorable leg warmers when I was reorganizing Emry's dresser. Someone gave them to us at one of our baby showers. Since she had a little fever and were staying in all day, she wore them around the house. I wish this outfit would be accepted out in public because it's pretty darn cute!

Into EVERYTHING!

Emry loves any purse, bag, drawer, etc. It's her mission to take every last thing out and make the biggest possible mess. Luckily she understands when we ask her to put it back and she does a pretty good job doing so. Today she got into my work bag and found lots of goodies!

A winter hat, mommy's tampon, and a Jillian Michaels DVD. At least she's learning what a woman really needs. :)
